Welcome

This past year has been very exciting. There has been a lot of new designs and new types of installations, like showers, railings and signs. The website now has tons of photos showing a wide range of design and application that is new for the studio.  The main focus of the studio is still custom work. Each project is created by hand and is unique.  Thanks for a great year!   Robert A Brown

Forging Iron

Our studio focuses on custom creations for each client.  Robert started as an apprentice in glass at the age of 20, painting and kiln firing glass for churches. 20 years later at the age of 40, he is still firing glass in kilns, only ten times as large.  Over the past 20 years he has studied twice in Germany and attended many conferences and workshops throughout the United States and Canada.  The first 11 years in St. Jacobs was spent in the back half of a building called "Artefacts Architectual Antiques."  In this space he designed and built the large kilns, and developed glass techniques that stood out as different and unique. The opportunity came to move out onto the main street in St. Jacobs in the old Blacksmith building where new opportunities arose. Now after 5 years in this prime location, Robert still makes 90% of what he sells on site.
