AISG Gallery Guidelines and Options

You must be a member to participate in the Artists in Stained Glass galleries.
Single yearly memberships are $12 US or $15 CDN.

Creation of artist/studio gallery page which includes:

Photo

Work must be of original design.
Scanning from photograph, cropping, resizing, contrast and brightness adjustments. (if required)
Creation of thumbnail and large photo of work.
Title of work.
Bio or commentary about the photo. (up to 150 words).
Creation of meta description and keywords for search engines.
Photo change once per year.
Text changes as required.

Contact info which may include:

Artist name
Studio Name
Mailing address
Telephone number
Fax number
Email address (link)
Website(s) URL (link) - up to 5 links
Text and link changes as required

A member may add more photos to their gallery page as an option.

One time charge of $5 each.
Includes:
page layout.
Scanning from photograph, cropping, resizing, contrast and brightness adjustments. (if required)
Creation of thumbnail and large photo of work.
text commentary up to 70 words.
thumbnail links to large photo.

Changing the extra photos and related text:
One time charge of $5 each.

$25 one time charge.
includes:
submitted text and one medium sized image
Scanning from photograph, cropping, resizing, contrast and brightness adjustments (if required) to make the image.
Link to and from artist's gallery page.
Contact information.
Text and photo updates once per year.
(Contact information changes as required.)

Additional digital image processing is available to members upon request.
(price: $10 per process, per image)

-Color balance adjustments.
-Elimination of distracting backgrounds or reflections.
-Scanning from printed matter, (i.e. your brochure) and correcting moire.
-Scanning a slide.
-Perspective corrections. (i.e. a photo of a long rectangular church window will often look wider at the bottom then at the top. This perspective effect can be corrected.)

Submitted work must be of original design by the artist/studio.
Via e-mail: Scanned photos should be saved in .jpg file format with lowest compression settings and a resolution of 72 dpi to 150 dpi. File size should not exceed 250K.
Mailed photos should be prints (there is an extra charge to scan a slide or brochure). Scanning color photocopies is possible.

If mailing via post office the information should be typed.
If e-mailing, do not send attachments. Please copy and paste text from your word processor into the body of your email.
Attachments in document form will not be opened.
